Logline

Zahra came to Germany from Afghanistan five years ago. She wants to lead a self-determined life, but language barriers, family duties and a lack of work stand in her way.

Synopsis

The fashion designer Cina Dilber works with Zahra and other women on traditional handicrafts and applies to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees for funding for her integration project "Social Design". A reportage for the ARD series Echtes Leben, broadcast on 5 September 2021.
